Independence Day 2023:

Celebrating Independence and Service

A momentous day filled with pride and purpose!

Independence Day began with the auspicious hoisting of flag by Dr. Anushree Degaonkar ma'am and Dr. Maneesha Solanki ma'am.

With Dr. Shruti Datar ma'am coordinating the event perfectly, we had a group of singers singing our National Anthem and other patriotic songs that we joined in.

We also unveiled two literary gems that speak volumes - 'Revolution 2022' and 'DSHMC Words' of this Quarter. These magazines echo the diversity of thought and creativity within our institution. Revolution 2022 Magazine were the results of tireless work by Dr. Praveen Oswal sir, Dr. Nita Ramchandani ma'am and the GS of the time Dr. Amatullah Nalawala.

We also commemorated Independence Day with an event that held the spirit of service at its core. The inauguration of a Peripheral Homoeopathic OPD in the Southern Command of the Indian Army marks a step towards holistic well-being for our brave soldiers. It was done by Lieutenant General Ajai Kumar Singh AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM who is the General Officer-Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Southern Command of the Indian Army.

A competition was held in our college for patriotic sketching, the results of which you can see in the video.

Certificates were also awarded in recognition to our hospital staff for their relentless efforts for various health check up camps and to our students for several activities in the past months.

As we basked in the glory of our nation's freedom and progress, we're reminded that every step forward is a collective effort. Here's to unity, healing, and the power of words!
